Thank you for visiting my website. As the classy fountain pen above suggests, I am a writer. (No, I don't actually use a fountain pen in real life.) I am also a practicing attorney with more years of experience in law and business than I would like to admit. This website is about both of these pursuits; it is a simple website because I am a simple person. The tabs above will take you wherever you want to go.

The Legal Practice tab will give you an idea of my practice and areas of focus. Keep in mind that I am only licensed to practice in New Mexico; if you're from somewhere else, I can't help you. 

The remaining tabs will take you to pages about my books: The Game and The Heat Is On (a Dead Squad Mystery), both fiction, and Who Gets The Silver?, a non-fiction estate planning guide. My writing tends to be clear, conversational, and accessible, although I can sling business jargon and legalese with the best of them if I so choose. I pay particular attention to the way writing sounds in the reader's head; if words don't flow lyrically, the entire experience suffers. I hate typos and grammatical errors more than most people. If you care about words, I think you'll like my work. 

A quick note about me... I spent most of my life in the Midwest but now live in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where the climate is fantastic and the people are cheerful. I have been married for more than half my life to the same guy and have three incredible kids (and one incredible kid-in-law) to show for it. I am happy and content and very thankful for that.
